WEEK 1

This was my first week in my New area!!!!! ITS WAY MAGANDA (Beautiful) 

My companion is really great!!! We teach really well together! like we have been together for awhile! 

The members here are really great and really love to work with us. Yesterday we went on splits all 8 of us.....EPIC!!!! I am not sure if this is my last area but I love it here.

So we also found 19 new investigators this week....They are all great and if we work well with them 85% will be baptized...the reason it's 85 and not 100 cause people asked us to not come back. yeah! 

 

I Finally figured out why people spend so much on transfers....it's not the ticket for the bus, it's the money for the food you buy after you go through the mountains to not get supper sick! 

First Sunday I blessed the sacrament and Taught Gospel Principals...sisters idea,

Transfers!

So I am getting transferred!!! Going to Camalaniugan  so That's super cool!!!! I don't know my companion but his name is Elder Cerbolles... so that's going to be way fun!

Any way there's something I forgot to tell you; something last week! Well last last week when I was on exchanges with the APs we were a little late so we went to one of the appointments in the truck. After that the fellowshipper canceled on us....so the AP was like I don't want to just go back to grab the bikes! so we worked in the Truck...felt like the boys back state side.

So I haven't really talked about my companion but he is way cool. He is originally from Peru but lives in Queens, New York. He speaks English and so it's all chill.

So this week was way cool!!! We got some fellowshippers, a ton, and it was way cool! Gave Vhiggo (fellowshipper) my KD jersey! so that's how great they are!

Yesterday I totally rode a caribou!!!!!! OH MAY FUN!!!!!!!!

I am excited to not be a ZL any more!!!! but it was fun!!!! time to just focus on the area!!!!!

First off what an amazing conference!

Being away from home no one ever hears how I feel about stuff so here we go.
I want to be Blunt again some may think what I am going to say is opinionated. I find it actually factual. After Hearing the oppose to the prophet and the 12 I think it's safe to say the reason is gay marriage and the section of the handbook that says Children of gay couples can't be baptized till they are 18. I invite you to look at 2 key things I think are important to understand. 1st The Family a Proclamation to the World stating the family stands next to Traditional marriage (between man and woman.) 2nd Every missionary ever who has filled out a baptism record knows a person Under the age of 18 must have written consent from the parents. So it is any wonder a people that HATE the church for Loving Traditional marriage and standing next to it (Firmly I might add.) would let there kid join that church. NOT SAYING GAYS ARE BAD PEOPLE ...BUT don't think the church isn't going to let that person come to church..you heard Neil L Anderson talk about the kids who parents didn't let them join but they still brought the bread every week.....

ANY way thats my rant for the week

This week was busy! FIRST MLC than ZTM on Thursday
For ZTM the training that me and Elder Pena where assigned to do was large so we decided to tag team it! We think that we did really good and overall was a great training!! !

Saturday and Sunday were conference

OH man, well first off it was my last!!!!! hahahaha But also it was inspiring!!!
Every word sung, every word said! MOVED me. I think the Best part was Saturday morning they were singing Come Thou Fount and the big man was balling his eyes out...that's a man who really feels what he sings!

I love this work, I do my best and I have fun while doing it. You all are the best!!!!!!

Better Week!

Every thing I am going to write really happen but the reason it happened is false.

2 weeks ago after weekly planning and studies we were planning our day and the AP's came over said they were "just dropping by" And BOOM took our phone. Than Monday they stopped by to give us some stuff and I asked what was the reason they took my phone and couldn't have it for a week. Reason...Text mate (definition of that is two people that text back and forth)  FAST FORWARD one week...longest week ever.... I was talking to a sister in my zone and in my district....and same ward. Told me that it was her that they said my text mate was. Fast forward to last Friday.  Went on Exchanges with the AP something came up and he said OK so what really happen? ( NOTE: this is the real story) The sister had an uncle who passed away. I told him that as ZL I was doing my job to do more than encourage and stuff but to "Lift, Inspire, Bless" (WHB 57) The AP said " oh..so it's all just a misunderstanding" Fast forward, yesterday, MLC, got the phone! I refuse to hold it......BUT I SILL LOVE MY MISSION AND MY PRESIDENT!

Anyway this week was great, well this weekend!

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY
There was this thing called Hear Heaven's Voice. It was a musical fireside that we taught the restoration through SONG! My zone was only in it for 1 song, but everyone said I should have been in it All. We sang "An Angel From on High"! It was pretty great! Got to see some members in Laoag and some missionaries in Batac, but our 2 fellowshippers went with us..PICs Later.

MONDAY was MLC.....nothing new

This week was not easy! but I have a better letter this week..I hope!

Well this week was holy week, and here that means a ton! There were parades like Tuesday, Friday and Sunday morning....at 4:30! (They will say that it wasn't a parade but I don't know what it is!) So it also means we really didn't get a ton of work done.....cause NO ONE WAS EVER HOME!

We are starting to notice that everyone is either eating or cooking at 6PM

Any way this is what I want to share cause it's after Easter and I actually gave a talk on Sunday about the atonement! and this is the scripture I shared and want to share it with you!  In Romans chapter 8
 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
