This week.

So before I opened lds.org I already knew what happened stateside and was glad the church handled it the way they did.

ALSO so here is a fun fact. I speak a different language and to build trust with less actives we talk about things they like.....Lebron said he was the best after game five, Warriors won, he cried and then K Love and D wade went and changed into a yellow Lakers jersey and the rest is history....NOW I SWEAR I AM OBEDIENT TO RULES I PROMISE that a Less active told me that.....any way moving on.

This week was real tough...and that doesn't even say the half of it....

BUT it was also ZONE CONFERENCE...President B's last. He goes home in 2 days. Oh man it was about marriage and going home...I had to recover from that hahaha and if you ask why recover? I mean not being trunky.....with a year. But that went away fast as we were able to work in the afternoon.

So I forgot to say the last transfer I got permission to wear my sandals because one, it rains every day two, my shoes died. pics will be here.

So I don't have any cool stories so I'll share about one of the less actives we teach. You know the one who loves to tell me world stuff like basketball. Every time we teach him, he has very DEEP question but they always come back to repentance....at first I was light as I am told to be, but he didn't budge...I shared with him not to procrastinate the day of repentance....he still didn't go to church so we went last night....hopefully, let's just say he comes next week.

THIS week also a member gave us three dragon fruit for free!!!!! They are soooooo good!!!

WELL yesterday was DAD'S day......I was thinking about it while I was giving a talk in sacrament yesterday din.....and it was a funny thought hahaha so I was like, man we go crazy for mum's day, like as missionaries we Skype for that day, but father's day it's like, eh, kind of hidden......like I didn't know until, yeah!! Anyway I was like well you know moms, they deal with u,s they birth us, the have that day.....but then I thought, you know, you have the mom and all her tools as a mom...where do they come from.....behind the scene of the father!!! hahaha

This week was alright. It was of course a little tough!
I have been doing good. I have a little cold right now but who cares....you just work through it and hope you don't forget to wash your hand before shaking hands.

OH yeah, it's been raining for the past like 6 days. Like not light either. that's what's hard. I haven't had the chance to work like this so i have to see how it's done. But we made do with what we had...Tuesday was the worst, like pouring rain......no cover.....ruined bag hahahaha ok lang!!!

6 weeks pa

Of course as a trainer you need to stay for 6 weeks even though that's sometimes not the case. BUT for me it is......this will be my 4th transfer here in Laoag. AM I EXCITED? yes

This week I was honored to have another baptism of our wonderfully intelligent investigator pics will be added at the bottom.

THIS WEEK WAS A HARD WEEK. we had a little technical difficulty this week but that's ok. We went into weekly planning with the intent to change this area......I noticed my area we were doing so well last transfer, but I also know that most of my lessons were coming from LA lessons. We wanted to change and add more to our investigators...so this week we planned out the entire week and any hole we filled with...you guessed it FINDING

THIS week it also just happen to rain and this week the members said that it should rain. A LOT

BAPTISM it was great. We had things planned, people ready to come and just so ready to work on the baptism.......THEN none of the speakers came....the sisters spoke. Everything just went downhill from there....my dear family and friends I refuse to say I was discouraged...because the water still came in....oh and it rained and we lost power....BUT WE LOVED IT!!!!!

MY NAME IS HOPE

MY first question I have is for my brother but thought you should all know...Clark where the heck did you get your music and why do you have love songs on here hahahaha I have had to delete a few songs now that I am training.

ANY way this week like any other week it had ups and downs left and rights and in and outs. BUT this is how it went.

I love Laoag. with all the enthusiasm and sun burns intended hahaha It's so hot but its pretty nice EVERY night clouds roll in so yeah!!! nice and cool...not cool but not HOT

This week we met a great woman who was a referral from the ward. She is way nice and totally accepted our message. She was taught noon by the sisters who use to be there but now she is willing again.

This week we went finding for a couple referrals from other missionaries. haha that's fun. Almost all of them are like AHHHH nooo we dont want you, how you find us goooo. OF COURSE I SAY SALAMAT SA TIME MO hahaha cause they are my MAKAKAPITID and I love them!  

Saturday we had a chance to work with some great guys!!! both are YoungSingleAdult or YSA they are so funny! We taught well and they loved it! I hope.......

SUNDAY I bore my testimony on one of my new favorite scriptures. 1 NEPHI 11:17 its a great one.....if you dont have a BOM...ask the guys in white or if you have family or friends. yeah

EARLIER we had a zone activity just at the local sports arena and just played rugby and football and yeah I sweat like crazy. I mean head to toe my clothes were like drenched hahaha here's a picture

1922-2015

If you don't know by now Elder L. Tom Perry passed away. It is cray to think. we saw him, healthy as a race horse at conference, now he is going to his kingdom.

HE WAS MY FAVORITE.....yes I have a favorite apostle.....so

So this week's letter I am going to do a two part....email then the next pics lang...cause I forgot last week.

This week we had another opportunity to serve...we went and painted at a school for the bishop's wife. What a fun time!!!


This week was actually really hard. We didn't do as good as we should. BUT I REFUSE TO DO BAD AGAIN.....I WILL DO THE BEST.

I am hapy to say that WE have a baptism really close for the 13th of this month!!! It is going to be great!!!!

hahaha The pictures next email will tell it all. I am just happy to be training. I try my best to make sure he learns all he can. but I am so ready to get out of Laoag 2. It's one of those things where you mess up once (meaning you had the wrong number or you didn't know) the members think less of you......that's ok.... "you can't serve two masters"  right I account to th Lord hahaha but yeah

Another note if you see missionaries walking anywhere...PLEASE get them water. we had a HOT week. while walking...thank goodness the people love us...
